Daily practice can not only be beneficial for your physical goals but the daily practice can keep you on track mentally. If you have fallen off your good intentions for the new year, we can help you come back to the mat. The practice of yoga really can help you stick to your goals, make new goals, and generally promote wellness from inside out.

 

 

 

Yoga Can Teach You How To Be Strong

Mentally you can stick to your New Year’s goals when employ meditation. Meditation can help you gain a more conscious focus in your life and relieve your mind of the daily stress of ‘things piling up’. Uncluttering your mind simply helps you make priorities, and those goals can be more easily attained. Of course, if you’re looking for a more in depth strength try 108 Sun Salutations.

 

Yoga Can Help You Kick Your Vices

The asanas and pranayamas of yoga can help you kick your nasty vices. A lot of people cut tobacco, alcohol, and other things out of their life with a New Year’s Resolution. Addictions can be easy to relapse on because it’s hard to kick bad habits. Focusing on strengthening your mind, as well as breathing in yoga can help you stick to your resolution for the long haul.

 

Yoga Is Great For Shedding The Old You

One of the biggest New Year’s Resolutions is to lose weight. Yoga not only can help you strengthen your mind, your body can benefit from cardiovascular poses as well as the lengthening. Both sure to help you attain your New Year’s weight loss goals. Poses like Sun Salutations and Downward Dog can really help get you in the groove to workout. These are great starters for any kind of aerobic activity, and will help energize you when done in the morning.

 

Just remember to come back to your mat 10 to 20 mins a day to help restart your path to health and wellness or join me in a class. Sometimes the community that is yoga can help give you the drive to continue your practice at home.
