I had such an amazing experience this weekend that I wanted to share with you. You won’t be surprised to know that I spent hours this weekend hanging out with a bunch of amazing ladies at Studio G yoga for a very special Breathwork Meditation.
I shared a picture on Facebook, but I wanted to go in a little bit of detail for those of you who weren’t able to make it to the studio! In particular, I wanted to help you recreate this experience on your own. The energy shared amongst this glorious group of focused human beings was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, and you, too, can raise your vibrations in a similar way.
During the workshop, we used a blend that included a rose essential oil on the top of the chest, which was an absolutely delicious experience. In and of itself, rose essential oil just smells amazing. But wait until you feel what it’s like to do a breathing meditation with the smell of roses just lingering around you like some magical cloak!
My favorite part is that it’s not just good to smell – it’s good for you. Researchers have found that rose essential oil contains many therapeutic compounds known to promote healing in the body. Here are just a few:
Carvone – effective digestive aid
Citral – strong antimicrobial
Citronellol – effective mosquito repellant
Methyl Eugenol – local antiseptic and anesthetic
Nerol – sweet-smelling aromatic antibiotic compound
Those are some pretty powerful benefits the beautiful smelling rose essential oil has!
