Thanksgiving is over, and you might feel like you over-indulged but that’s okay. Now is the time to start preparing your body for being healthy throughout the entire next year. Create some healthy habits through December to take care of your body (and avoid the end-of-year weight gain)!
It can be deliciously satisfying to eat a plant-based diet even through the holidays! Try these recipes for holiday parties, pot-luck dinners and casual suppers with friends. You won’t notice that the meat is missing (and neither will they)!


Simple Squash and Apple Soup
Start out simple with this
Squash and Apple Soup. It has just ten ingredients (and most of them you already have on hand). There are even non-vegan options (using heavy cream instead of coconut cream, if you prefer) for those who aren’t completely vegan on the regular. 

 

 

 

Tasty Baked Tofu (Totally Kid Approved)
This delicious looking 
Tasty Baked Tofu recipe has even fewer ingredients, and I’m sure you already have all the ingredients at home. You might just need to pick up the tofu, but that’s easy to find. Everything else is a pantry staple! 

 

 

 

 

Brussels Sprout Hash With Coconut Bacon
This might be a bit more adventurous than you expected to be, but it’s well worth the effort. It whips up really easily, and sounds so flavorful you won’t even realize you’re not eating real pork! Check out this delicious

Pine Needle Shortbread Cookies
Okay, okay, I know. This sounds a bit crazy, but stay with me. I love the smells of the holiday season and I’m willing to experiment, so I had to include this recipe. Check out the details of these
Pine Needle Shortbread Cookies and let me know if you’re willing to try making them! I don’t think I’ll be able to harvest the pine needles, though, so I would suggest using 2-3 drops of Siberian Fir Essential Oil in the recipe and get the same effect.
