This is a truly expansive pose both physically and emotionally, and disciplined muscle energy is released.
Half Moon Pose
This is one of the more difficult balancing postures, but the important thing to remember is to keep trying. Don’t give up. Take it one breath at a time. It is incredibly rewarding to just reach the point in your practice where you can take two full breaths in Half Moon pose, and it gets better from there.

Wide-Leg Seated Forward Bend
This is a great learning posture because it’s effective for new and experienced yoga practitioners alike. Wide-leg seated forward bend is the best preparation for most other seated forward bends, as well as many twists and wide-leg standing poses.
